Our beloved Stacy Dana Miller made her transition to Glory on March 12th, 2020. Stacy was born on March 29th, 1970 in Bronx, New York to Areatha Miller and the late Stanley Miller.

Stacy graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in The Bronx in 1988 and received a B.SN in Nursing from Hampton University in Virginia in 1992. Stacy was a registered Nurse in many capacities until she retired in 2017, due to her illness. She was very passionate about making a difference in the lives of her patients and co-workers. She was a woman of strength and dignity.

Stacy was full of life and was all about family and friends. She loved music and having friends and family over for cookouts. Stacy was quite the entertainer; she loved life and was always the life of the party. Stacy was an active member and “Queen” of the Pink Hats Society.

Anyone who knew Stacy knew she had a quick tongue and always spoke her mind. She would debate you to the end on any subject. She was a walking dictionary and was well informed on any topic whether it was religion, politics, music or current events.

Stacy was preceded by her aunts and uncles the late Constance Pratt (Connie), Karen Miller and Leonard Miller.

Stacy is survived by her mom, Areatha Miller (Gracie); children, Kyree Phillips, Kortni Francis, and “adopted daughter” Latifa Ridgway; sisters-cousins, Kimberly Hansard Bailey, Chinique Henderson and Chermir Henderson; aunts, Sandra Hansard, Joyce Henderson, Jayne Tyson, Barbara Miller, Shirley Miller, Sandra Miller; Uncles, James Tyson (Jr.), Gerald Miller, Richard Miller, and Geoffrey Miller; Godmother, Imogene Rymer; God sister, Dearice Griffin and a host of cousins and friends.

God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best – we love you Stacy.
